Talent International is searching for an experienced Program Support Officer to join our Queensland Government client based in Brisbane CBD on an initial 5-month contract with strong extension potential.

The role:
This newly created position supports a high-profile program within the Information Governance and Digital Enablement (IGDE) directorate - a fast-evolving team driving digital uplift and operational improvement. Sitting within the Infrastructure Services Division (responsible for $40B+ in assets and $2.2B in annual capital works), this role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, dynamic environments and enjoys being part of a collaborative, Agile-focused team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end administrative and logistical support across a three-stream program of work
• Manage documentation and records as the program's Document Controller
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, equipment, onboarding/offboarding, and mailbox/calendar management
• Deliver high-quality secretariat support for governance forums and project boards
• Support internal reporting, finance tracking, and continuous improvement of internal processes

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in program/project support roles, ideally within the Queensland Government
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and support teams with varied stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication with high attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently and within teams
• Effective problem-solving approach, especially in fast-paced or complex settings
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum environments
• Experience with Content Manager (HP TRIM) and/or FieldGlass
