Saltwater Eco Tours is an award-winning, locally owned cultural tourism company delivering unforgettable experiences on the Sunshine Coast. We're currently looking for one or two enthusiastic and reliable casual team members to join our growing crew starting in August 2025.

Current Vacancies

1. Bartender/Deckhand

Step aboard our heritage vessel and help us create unforgettable guest experiences on the water.
Key duties include:

Serving drinks and local food (cocktail experience a plus)

Assisting with docking, ropes, and deck setup/pack down

Engaging with guests and supporting a fun, safe atmosphere

Maintaining cleanliness and safety onboard

Requirements:

RSA Certification (Responsible Service of Alcohol)

Previous bar experience (cocktail skills highly regarded)

Comfortable around water and boats

Reliable, fit, friendly and available on weekends

Bonus if you have:

General Purpose Hand (deckhand qualification)

Marine or boating experience

Interest in Indigenous culture and eco-tourism

2. Retail Assistant – Gift & Booking Office

Support our team in the retail and booking space.
Key duties include:

Assisting customers with tour bookings and retail purchases

Providing a friendly, professional guest experience

Handling sales, stock display and basic admin tasks

Requirements:

Prior retail or customer service experience preferred

Confident with POS systems and communication

Passionate about tourism, culture and sustainability

Available on weekends

Hours & Availability

Casual position, 12–20 hours per week

Must be available most weekends or at least every second weekend

Afternoon/evening may be required depending on cruise times
