Our focus is building strong, close-knit relationships with our clients and ensuring they get the very best advice and strategy. Working predominantly with small to medium sized businesses, a significant part of our service is sharing knowledge and clearly articulating our framework whilst providing context of our approach to their accounting requirements.

THE ROLE

Working from your home office, you will work closely with and be fully supported by our Director Andrea and team to ensure our clients are provided with the care and support they need on their business journey. Communicating with clients via phone and e-mail is a large part of this role, so if you're an accountant that loves getting amongst it and building strong relationships with great clients, keep reading!

Your primary responsibilities will include –

Servicing small business and start up clients, servicing them in all areas of taxation advice and business advisory

Being mentored by our Senior Client Manager/Director Andrea - AKA The Wizard

Liaising with clients via phone and online appointments

Managing strategic client meetings

Advising clients on software selection

Small business mentoring

Strategic tax planning and structuring advice in a clear and effective way

THE CANDIDATE

Ideally to succeed in this role you will have 3-5 years experience working with an accounting firm. You will require a high level of interpersonal skills and love solving clients ongoing challenges in business. We have a strong focus on communicating and educating our clients on the ‘big picture’ when it comes to strategic accounting advice, therefore excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must!

Technical skills required for the role include but not limited to –

Preparing income tax variations

Preparing tax planning figures and analysis

Preparing fringe benefits income tax returns

Preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, trust, companies and self managed superannuation funds

Provide business advice on workcover, stamp duty, payroll tax, FBT etc

We're offering the opportunity to work completely from home, in either a full time or part time capacity. For part time applicants, we can negotiate the hours that suit you! Also on offer is a salary package range of $80,000 to $100,000 (pro rata for part time), dependent on your experience, plus assistance creating the perfect home office set up.
