About Us

Join a supplier of glass products servicing the building, construction, and residential industries.

Based in Oakleigh South, this well-established business is currently seeking a dedicated Data Entry Administrator to support its customer service department and ensure the accurate processing of purchase orders.

Reporting directly to the Office Manager, you will play a key role in the administration team. Your main responsibility will be the accurate data entry of customer purchase orders for a range of products including showers, mirrors, wardrobes, and splashbacks. Attention to detail will ensure that customer expectations and deadlines are consistently met and hours of operation are Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 7am - 3pm.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Data enter customer purchase orders, inquiries, and order requests accurately and promptly
  • Convert entered work to active jobs to be actioned by measure team
  • Actively contribute to customer service by assisting the team in various tasks on an ad hoc basis
  • Liaise with measuring or production team to problem solve queries for customer orders
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive customer information during data entry processes
  • Respond promptly to email and phone communication to resolve data-related queries and discrepancies
  • Administration, customer service and general office duties

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data entry or related administrative roles, demonstrating speed and accuracy
  • Proficiency in using data entry software, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity and quality
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced office environment
  • Worked in manufacturing sectors of buildings materials or building products previously an advantage

Opportunity to grow and learn more skills in the business after 6-months to move into an estimating and technical direction i.e.: prepare, liaise, evaluate, and deliver quotations for customers via house plans.
