Our client, Mallee Sustainable Farming (MSF), is embarking on a new era. With a new strategic plan, a new research plan, and a new Communication & Extension Manager! This is an exciting time to join this farmer-led, not-for-profit organisation and be part of a team that encourages farmers to adopt new practices and technological advancements, transforming the Mallee regions into a sustainable and profitable farming landscape through targeted RD&E activities.

What You’ll Do

• Lead effective internal and external engagement, communication and extension services
• Plan and deliver events (i.e., field days, trials, workshops, webinars)
• Create high-quality written content, including reports and newsletters
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors, funding bodies, and growers
• Mentor and collaborate with a small team of professionals spread across the region
• Support grant applications, project reporting, and strategic communication planning
• Travel around the Mallee representing and promoting MSF at industry events

What You’ll Bring

• Experience delivering communication and/or extension programs (ag sector preferred)
• Strong writing and digital communication skills
• Confident project and stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
