Holly Rose Hair is a boutique salon in Coogee, known for our premium hair extensions, high level creative colour work, and relaxed-luxe vibe. We’re not just a salon, we’re a brand on the rise, with hair extensions education and a hair extensions line launching soon.

As we grow, we’re looking for a Salon Manager to come on board and help keep things running smoothly day-to-day, supporting the team and supporting the founder to focus on the bigger picture.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hybrid role - part client experience, part team leadership, and part operations (also with the possibility of working on clients on occassion). You’ll be the right hand to the salon owner, helping manage the team and day-to-day so she can focus on growing the brand.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing client bookings, enquiries, and messages (phone, email & DMs)

Overseeing salon stock (extensions, colour, treatments, retail)

Supporting and nurturing the team - scheduling, check-ins, and training opportunities

Ensuring the salon runs smoothly and calmly day-to-day

Greeting & checking out clients, and helping rebook or upsell services/products

Coordinating training sessions and staff development

Capturing content for socials (training provided)

Assisting the salon owner with planning and goal setting

You’re confident in your leadership but always respectful of the owner’s vision

You’ve got experience in salon operations (bonus points if you’ve led a team before)

You’re excited to be part of a growing brand - not just a salon job

Your Experience:

2+ years experience in a salon, beauty or client facing role

Confident supporting a team and managing day to day operations

Strong organisational and communication skills

Experiencing using salon booking systems (eg. Fresha)

Comfortable managing stock and coordinating schedules

Warm, calm and solutions-focused

Bonus: Social media or salon marketing experience

Hours: We’re open to both full-time and part-time applicants (between 3–5 days/week) and can tailor the role around the right person
