We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of a major GIS transformation project within a leading utilities organisation.

This is a great opportunity to work on a high-impact program, capturing business requirements, driving process improvements, and ensuring alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Details:

Location: Melbourne CBD - 3 days in the office, hybrid flexibility

Contract: 12-month initial term

Rate: $900-$950 per day (including super/GST)

About the Role:

Gather and document detailed business and functional requirements

Work closely with GIS, IT, and operational teams to translate needs into actionable outcomes

Analyse current-state processes and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities

Facilitate workshops, user stories, and contribute to test planning

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the utilities or infrastructure sector

Strong understanding of GIS, spatial systems, or asset management tools

Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
