About the Role
They are seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to lead the rollout and optimisation of a new Customer Services Portal designed to streamline account management, outage notifications, and self-service capabilities for residential and commercial customers. This role will be central to driving a digital shift that makes accessing utility services easier, faster, and more transparent.
You’ll collaborate across multiple business units—IT, operations, customer experience, regulatory, and field services—to ensure the successful launch and continuous enhancement of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of the Customer Services Portal, from project initiation through implementation and post-launch improvements.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, monitor budgets and timelines, and manage risks to keep initiatives on track.
- Coordinate iterative improvements informed by customer usage data, feedback, and evolving compliance requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal teams and third-party vendors, fostering open communication and strong partnerships.
- Work closely with UX/UI teams, developers, and data analysts to deliver a secure, accessible, and intuitive platform.
- Ensure all solutions comply with industry regulations, data privacy standards, and security protocols relevant to the utilities sector.
- Prepare regular status reports and updates for senior leadership and steering committees.
About You
- Proven experience delivering digital products or platforms as a Project Manager, ideally within utilities, infrastructure, or other asset-intensive industries.
- Solid grasp of customer portal technologies, user experience principles, and modern software delivery practices.
- Excellent ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to senior executives and field operations staff.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or MS Project.
- Experience navigating regulatory requirements and working in compliance-driven settings.
- Background in integrating digital platforms with legacy operational systems would be highly regarded.
