Are you looking for a casual role as an Excavator & Bobcat Operator in Tamworth, NSW? Civil Construction Surveys' is seeking an experienced machine operator to join our team. This is a casual position, with flexible work arrangements available to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

Operating excavators to carry out essential civil construction tasks such as site preparation, earthmoving, and materials handling

Ensuring that all equipment is operated safely and efficiently, in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies

Performing routine maintenance and pre-start checks on the machinery to keep it in optimal working condition

Collaborating with the wider construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards

Maintaining accurate records of work performed and equipment usage

What we're looking for

Proven experience as an excavator and or Bobcat operator, ideally within the civil construction industry

Strong understanding of safe operating procedures and the ability to operate machinery in a responsible and diligent manner

Familiarity with reading construction plans and interpreting site requirements

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected challenges on the job

Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

A valid driver's licence and the ability to obtain any necessary plant operating licences
