About the role
Neverstop Water Group is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator/Pipelayer (or owner operator) to join our team on a 3month contract basis. This role is based in Moss Vale, NSW 2577 and will involve operating heavy machinery to excavate and lay pipework for our sewer infrastructure project.

Please do not apply if you do not have direct experience in this role.

What you'll be doing

Operating excavators and other heavy machinery to excavate trenches and prepare sites for pipeline installation

Laying and positioning pipework accurately according to project plans

Performing routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery

Collaborating with the broader construction team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard

Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations on site

Jumping on a shovel to assist the laying team.

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience as an excavator operator and pipelayer, ideally in the construction or water infrastructure industries

Team player, willing to stay back and get the job done.

Excellent attention to detail (digging around live utilities) and commitment to quality outcomes

Current Earthmoving VOC and construction tickets/certifications

Not afraid of manual labour, getting out of the cab and getting stuck in.
