What you'll be doing

Operate 3t excavator machinery in a safe and efficient manner to complete a variety of construction tasks

Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance on the excavator to ensure optimal performance

Liaise with the site foreman and other team members to coordinate excavation activities and meet project deadlines

Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and environmental regulations to minimise risks and ensure compliance

Provide feedback and recommendations to improve excavation processes and procedures

Support with drainage, backfilling and material handling

What we're looking for

Specialised Equipment Focus Operate a 3-tonne excavator with a focus on precision work, including final trim without GPS and retaining wall installation—ideal for skilled operators who take pride in finesse and attention to detail.

Experienced operator for installing concrete sleeper retaining walls

Demonstrated proficiency in the safe and efficient operation of 3t excavator machinery

Strong understanding of construction site operations and a commitment to workplace health and safety

Relevant construction industry qualifications and licenses, such as a High-Risk Work Licence (Excavator)
