Chapter One is a boutique early learning service offering a nature-based learning environment with a focus on nurturing children through play and creating meaningful moments each day.

Our Willagee service continues to grow enrolments and we are building a team of heroes to deliver fantastic experiences to our enthusiastic children and families.

We are a local family-owned service who’s supportive & passionate providers are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Food Coordinator / Cook to provide nutritious meals to our Children and team.

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and talented Food Coordinator / Cook to join our newly refurbished 47 place service for an immediate start.

Your role will involve:

Part Time role - 8am – 1pm Monday to Friday (no weekends or public holidays)

Having autonomy to manage your kitchen at the heart of the service

Planning and preparation of nutritious meals to meet dietary requirements

Daily interactions with Children, Families and Educator team.

Your story will need:

A passion for working in an Early Learning Environment.

Food Coordinator or Cooking experience in an early childhood or relevant setting

Great time management and organisational skills

Adaptability, flexibility, resilience, and good communication skills

Plus our pre-requisites of:

A valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Cert II / III in Commercial Cooking, highly regarded, however not essential
