About the Role

Are you ready to lead with purpose and set the standard for workplace excellence? As the Learning and Development Trainer and Content Designer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering effective, engaging training resources and courses across all Parkerville locations

This is your chance to make an impact by:

• Organise, facilitate and support the delivery of Parkerville trainings, inductions, leadership development sessions, all-staff meetings and other learning initiatives.

• Deliver engaging in-person and online training to staff and carers across various office and residential locations.

• Design and develop innovative digital, blended and face-to-face learning solutions aligned with organisational goals and adult learning principles.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to produce accessible, impactful content.

• Develop learning and assessment tools that align with Parkerville’s core competencies and practice frameworks.

• Maintain and analyse training records and databases, generating reports and recommendations to support continuous improvement.

• Review and enhance existing training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

• Manage training logistics including room bookings, equipment setup, refreshments, and feedback collection.

What We’re Looking For

We need a creative and passionate designer driven to build inclusive and impactful training who has:

• Demonstrated experience designing engaging, outcome-focused learning solutions, aligned with adult learning principles.

• Proven ability to create end-to-end learning strategies — from training needs analysis to post-implementation review.

• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Proficiency in Articulate 360 – particularly Storyline and Rise – with an eye for visual and digital design.

• High-level written communication skills and attention to detail.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.

• A creative mindset with a passion for transforming complex information into accessible, engaging content.

Parkerville Children and Youth Care are uniquely positioned to provide the successful applicant with the following benefits.

• SCHADS Schedule B and Level – Level 5.1 - $49.28 per hour.
