Senior Bookkeeper

They’re now seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their internal bookkeeping division, a tight-knit and collaborative team that works across a diverse portfolio of clients, with a strong focus on the medical and healthcare sector.

The Experienced Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to the financial well-being for a diverse client list.

Responsibilities

End-to-end bookkeeping using Xero and MYOB

Setup and configuration of new client files

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Payroll processing and superannuation compliance

Bank and balance sheet reconciliations

Invoicing and data entry

BAS preparation and lodgement

Intercompany loan reconciliations

Liaising with external accountants for year-end requirements

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 4+ years of bookkeeping experience in public practice or a bookkeeping firm

Strong working knowledge of Xero (and ideally Xero Practice Manager)

Confident with BAS/IAS preparation, payroll, and end-of-month processes

High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional attitude

Cert IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (or higher qualification) preferred
