VicRoads is progressing too. In August 2022, we started on a new chapter when the Victorian State Government partnered with Aware Super, Australian Retirement Trust, and Macquarie Asset Management to operate registration and licensing services on its behalf.
We work collaboratively with the Victorian State Government to ensure we fulfill regulatory requirements, deliver State projects and safeguard customer data. The Victorian State Government retains sole responsibility for road access, infrastructure and safety.
Annual salary range: $79,866 - $97,169 plus super
Employment type: Full-time / Ongoing

About the opportunity:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and data-driven Procurement Analyst to join our Operations Procurement team. Reporting to the Manager Operations Procurement, you'll support procurement and contract management activities through insightful data analysis, reporting, and administrative support. This role is key to helping VicRoads make smarter procurement decisions and deliver efficient, customer-focused services.
About you:
You're a proactive team player with a passion for data and process improvement. You bring a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
You will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance, Analytics or a related field
- Experience in procurement analytics within a complex organisation
- Strong data skills, including Excel and Power BI
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A customer-first mindset and a drive for continuous improvement
Desirable:
- Familiarity with procurement and contract management IT systems

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse purchasing and commercial data to deliver actionable insights
- Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and reports
- Monitor procurement savings, contract compliance, and spend leakage
- Support supplier reviews and commercial planning
- Administer contract management systems and maintain supplier data
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to improve processes
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and risk management practices
