About the role

Toy Box Community Child Care Centre is seeking experienced Educators with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care to join our passionate and dedicated team. This part-time/full-time role is based in Port Lincoln, South Australia and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the development and wellbeing of young children in an environment where children feel safe, nurtured, stimulated and happy.

What you'll be doing

Implement the Centre's educational program to provide high-quality early childhood education and care

Observe and document children's learning, development and wellbeing to inform future planning

Build positive relationships with children, families and the community

Ensure a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

Collaborate with the wider team to continuously improve the service

Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations and policies

What we're looking for

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification

Experience working as an Educator in a long day care or preschool setting preferred

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families and colleagues

Commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive and responsive early childhood education

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit, passionate team

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications

Valid Working with Children Check
