Qualifications & experience

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).

Current ACECQA First Aid Certificate, CPR, Asthma and Accredited Anaphylaxis Certificate.

Valid Working with Children Check clearance.

Accredited Child Protection Training.

Passionate advocate for 0 to 6 year old's.

Innovative, creative, positive and motivated with a great personality and a professional manner and appearance.

Tasks & responsibilities

To build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children.

Contribute to ensuring Happy Valley Community Children’s Centre facilitates a play-based learning environment and develops learning programs responsive to children’s ideas, strengths and abilities that inspire independent learners.

Work within a team to implement the successful planning, implementation and evaluation of a program for the service that is reflective of an approved learning framework; the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Assist with the smooth running of the room in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures under the direction of the Team Leader.

Contribute to the collection, recording and evaluation of children’s records and observations, as required under the National Quality Standard and regulatory authority whilst implementing inclusive practices and lead an environment which honors diversity.

Are genuinely passionate about working with children in a team environment with energy, empathy, creativity and in an inclusive environment that enriches the lives of children.
