About the role

K & T Engineering is seeking a full time experienced Fitter & Turner to join our dynamic team on projects based both in our Factory in Somerton and Onsite.

What you'll be doing

Interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Machining parts in the lathe and mill, maintaining machinery and general fitting.

Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with relevant safety regulations

Collaborating with the production team to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the manufacturing process

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Fitting & Turning , with a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience

Leadership experience (preferred)

Experience in MIG and ARC welding techniques, with the ability to produce high-quality welds

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work that meets or exceeds quality standards

A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A valid forklift license (preferred)
