Join Our Kitchen Team – Prep Chef & Chef (Immediate Start)

The Glenelg Public House is a well-known dining destination on the Gold Coast, built on a love for high-quality produce and uncompromising hospitality. We’re now looking for two new team members to join our kitchen:

Prep Chef (Casual) – Perfect for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, handling prep, organisation, and supporting the team to keep service running smoothly.

Chef (Casual) – For an experienced cook who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen and wants to work with premium ingredients.

Both roles are casual with an immediate start, with the opportunity to move into full-time for the right candidates.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Prep Chef:

Prepping vegetables, proteins, and other ingredients.

Keeping the kitchen organised, clean, and service-ready.

Working closely with chefs to ensure everything is ready for service.

Chef:

Cooking and plating dishes to a high standard.

Collaborating with the team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Maintaining food quality, consistency, and cleanliness at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

Prep Chef: Great attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn and some experience in a similar role.

Chef: Previous experience in a professional kitchen, with strong technical skills and a passion for quality food.

For both roles: Team players who can handle a busy, high-energy environment.
