As a Rehab Nurse, you’ll have the following skills:

A genuine passion to provide excellent specialised care to meet individual patient needs

Sound clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills

Effective assessment of patients, by analysing data and identifying their needs, adapting their care plan as their journey progresses

Ability to maintain excellent relationships with patients and their loved ones

Confidence in supervising ENs/AINs, depending on position

Medication administration

Strong administration skills, ability to accurately record the patient journey in a timely fashion

Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement

Strong attention to detail, ensuring patient safety at all times

The ability to stay calm under pressure

A great sense of teamwork and effective communication skills. You're happy to seek guidance when you need it.

Other Requirements:

Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Division 1 (AHPRA)

Minimum of 1 years’ experience

Valid Working with Children Check

National Police Check

100-point ID check
