We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced leader to join our Waratah service as a Nominated Supervisor & Educational Leader. If you thrive in a supportive, child-focused environment and love making a difference in the lives of children aged 5–12, this could be the perfect opportunity!
This role is available as either a full-time or part-time position, offering a combination of block and split shifts to support work-life balance or study.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, mentoring a team of educators, and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, engaging program for children aged 5–12 years. You will lead with confidence, support compliance, and champion our commitment to care, inclusion and excellence in OOSH.
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training
- Demonstrated ability to successfully support the My Time Our Place Framework for School Aged Children with the centre curriculum
- Previous experience in successfully managing a budget for an Early Education or OOSH Centre
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Children’s Services or Certificate III in Children’s Services (minimum of 3 years’ experience) as identified by Australian Children’s Education and care Authority
- Working with Children Check verification number
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
- Child protection qualification
