A fantastic opportunity has become available for a permanent part-time cook to join The Ranges ELC team.

The role will entail, but not limited to:

· Preparing breakfast (as required), morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea based on a 4-week rotating menu

· Ensure food safety & hygiene is always maintained when handling, preparing and storing food and drinks

· Ensure that meals meet the dietary requirements of children with allergies or cultural food restrictions

· Inputting into the preparation of the seasonal menu

· Order food and supplies to cater for the menu of the week

· Communicate effectively with colleagues, children & their families

The successful candidate will have:

· Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain

· First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain

· Good communication skills

· Good time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision

· Previous experience in a similar role desirable – childcare or aged care

You will need to be available to work between 8am to 1pm, covering 5 days/week.
