HLR Geospatial is seeking a young and enthusiastic team member to join our growing operation. This part-time position offers hands-on experience in both geotechnical drilling and property mapping, supporting a range of residential and light commercial projects.

No prior experience is necessary – full training will be provided in the use of surveying equipment and drilling tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and record soil samples from various residential and commercial sites

Bag and prepare soil samples for shipment to testing facilities

Perform on-site property mapping, including key survey attributes

Generate and send digital files and reports to the head office

Accurately document field observations and measurements

What We’re Looking For:

A proactive and reliable attitude

Interest in geospatial science, surveying, or environmental fieldwork

Willingness to work outdoors and travel throughout Yorke Peninsula

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Basic computer skills (training provided for software and file transfers)

Current driver’s licence essential.
