We’re looking for an Area Manager who can lead with clarity, coach with care, and bring out the best in a small group of OSHC services.

About the Role:

As Area Manager, you’ll lead a small group of OSHC services, each at different stages of growth. Some are steady and thriving, others need a calm, confident leader to bring consistency and support through change.

This role is ideal for someone self-driven and well organised, with strong knowledge of the NQF, NQS and MTOP.

You’ll work closely with passionate teams, helping strengthen practice, navigate challenges, and uplift quality in a way that lasts. With genuine autonomy and trust, you’ll have the space to lead with purpose and create lasting impact across your services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Mentoring and coaching Service Directors and Assistant Coordinators
• Embedding the NQF and MTOP 2.0 into everyday practice
• Supporting new leaders and educators with onboarding, development, and guidance
• Collaborating on improvements in safety, behaviour support, staffing, and service culture
• Visiting each service regularly to build relationships and offer meaningful support
• Building strong connections with schools and communities
• Reporting and liaising with senior leadership on service progress and needs

• Are a strong communicator, natural coach, and grounded in empathy
• Are open to travel (with allowances provided) and able to drive between sites

Child Safeguarding:

Looking for an individual that will understand, adhere to, and promote The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (the Child Safe Standards). In your position, you will help to take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.

Child safeguarding methods for this position, could include, but are not limited to:

• A NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain.
• Thorough screening.
• Reference checks.
• A national criminal history check.
