Business Development Manager – Door Hardware
- Brisbane Metro and Surrounding Suburbs
- $100,000 – $120,000 Base + $16K Car Allowance + Super + Bonus

This is an opportunity to join a trusted and established market leader in the architectural door hardware sector, supplying premium products across both residential and commercial construction projects. With a strong national footprint and over a century of industry presence, this business is known for its dependable brand, solid project pipeline, and long-standing customer relationships. Working with major builders, architects, and specifiers, their product range is widely used across new builds and refurbishment contracts nationwide.
THE ROLE
As a Business Development Manager – Commercial, you’ll be responsible for managing a split territory within Brisbane's metro area, working across both residential and commercial markets (approx. 50/50). You’ll follow project specifications through to builder engagement, leveraging an established product set and brand reputation. The role is equally focused on account management and new business, supporting ongoing projects while developing opportunities within the builder and specifier network. You’ll collaborate closely with a national sales team and report directly to the National Sales Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a base of construction-focused accounts
- Generate new business through builder and project engagement
- Follow projects from specification to site-level delivery
- Work closely with architects, estimators, site teams, and procurement professionals
- Maintain project visibility and forecast pipeline activity
- Collaborate with internal teams to support pricing and delivery
THE CANDIDATE
- THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: Experience selling to Architects AND/OR Builders (residential/Commercial).
- This role suits a construction-savvy sales professional who has worked on the ground with builders, site teams, or within a project-based specification environment.
- You’ll bring a confident and commercially focused approach, with the ability to open doors and nurture long-term relationships.
- Experience in hardware, construction materials, or fit-out products is beneficial, but most important is your understanding of how to work across different stakeholder levels on large, staged building projects.
WHAT’S ON OFFER
- Base salary of $100,000 – $120,000
- $16,000 Car Allowance
