About the role

We are looking for a motivated team player to join us as an experienced Bookkeeper. This full-time role is based in Sydney CBD and provides an excellent opportunity to apply and enhance your expertise in bookkeeping and small practice accounting. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our growing client base.

What you'll be doing for our clients:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, payroll, and BAS preparation

Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions

Generate financial reports for clients

Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner

Collaborate with the team to improve processes and ensure the smooth running of the accounting function

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping, such as a certificate or diploma

Minimum 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or small practice accounting role

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with financial data

Proficient in using accounting software, such as Xero, MYOB and/or QBO

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities
