About the Role

We’re looking for a calm, capable coordinator to help bring order to the way we manage stock, consumables, and suppliers across the business.

This is a new, hands-on role focused on inventory accuracy, procurement clarity, and making sure the right gear shows up at the right time, without the scramble. You’ll work closely with our GM and key team members across engineering, finance, and the workshop. Day to day, you’ll be raising purchase orders, tracking deliveries, creating stock visibility, and helping us evolve from reactive to proactive.

If you take pride in structure, clear communication, and getting things right early — this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Raising and managing purchase orders for consumables, parts, and job-specific gear

Tracking deliveries and proactively flagging late arrivals or missing items

Supporting and running weekly stock counts — that means physically checking, labelling, and tracking stock across our Richlands and Carole Park sites

Building visibility into what’s in stock, what’s on order, and what needs to be replenished

Helping build and maintain clean supplier and item master data

Mapping what we stock, how we store it, and setting up min/max levels that actually reflect usage

Working directly with engineers, draftees, and supervisors to make sure nothing gets missed between job planning and order placement

Helping reduce last-minute dashes and build a system people can trust

Laying the groundwork for a smart, simple procurement and inventory playbook

Who This Role Is For

You’ve got 3–5 years in a purchasing, procurement, inventory or supply role, and you’ve been in the weeds, not just behind a screen. You know what it’s like to chase up freight, check what’s on the bench, and match a delivery docket to a job number. You’re comfortable working across systems like MYOB, SharePoint, and Excel, but you don’t need an ERP to build order. You know how to make the most of the tools at hand, and you’d rather create something clean and usable than overengineer the process.

You’re steady under pressure. You ask good questions. You take accountability when something’s not clear and you don’t wait for someone else to chase you up.

You’re someone who likes seeing a system come together, and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and count washers if that’s what it takes to make it right.

You’ll Bring

Experience with purchase orders, stock control, and inventory systems

A head for logic, numbers, and practical process-building

Good written communication (for documenting systems and supplier notes)

A calm, proactive style, you spot gaps, ask questions, and don’t wait to be told twice

Familiarity with MYOB or similar tools

Solid Excel skills

A collaborative attitude, you’re comfortable in between teams and can chase an answer without stepping on toes

Bonus: Experience in manufacturing, construction, trades, or site-based environments

What You’ll Help Us Build

We’re not just hiring someone to “place the orders.” We’re looking to build:

A working stock system (min/max, what lives where, who’s using it)

Cleaner handoffs between engineering and procurement

A smarter approach to buying — bundled, tracked, and repeatable

Clear visibility for the rest of the business (so we know what’s coming, what’s delayed, and why)

You’ll be part of building a calmer, more capable operations backbone — and we’ll back you with the time, trust, and tools to do it right.

Our Culture

We’re an Australian-owned business building tailored acoustic and industrial solutions across the country. We’re practical, people-focused, and growing steadily. We value good judgment, straight talk, and getting the job done right the first time.

We’ve built this role to reduce noise and risk - not add to it. You’ll be trusted to own your patch, work closely with leadership, and shape how procurement runs from the ground up.

A Note on Fit

This isn’t a high-speed buying desk. It’s a calm, logic-first coordination role that supports smart decision-making. If you’re someone who likes a clear runway and is happy to build the path as you go - we want to hear from you.

We’re an Equal Opportunity Employer

We value diversity and welcome applications from all backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life. We’re committed to building a workplace that’s respectful, inclusive, and free from discrimination.
