Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, Seek the experience of a EL1 Assistant Director – Finance

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated experience in effectively managing high volumes of work and competing priorities, with the ability to manage an operational team as well as manage upwards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively synthesise information and communicate to people from different backgrounds and levels of seniority
• Demonstrated experience in preparing complex and/or sensitive correspondence, briefings, papers, report and other written artefacts, with strong attention to detail
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strategic relationships and communicate decisions using professional judgement.

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in delivering management accounting functions and financial management advice to senior executives to support decision making.
• Demonstrated experience in effectively managing and analysing large complex data sets in support of complex budget and financial management.
• A good understanding of financial accounting practices and asset management accounting.
• Experience in a range of enterprise financial accounting systems, and advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
