We’re working with a national multi-brand retailer undergoing a major technology uplift across customer platforms, pricing systems, and supply chain capability.

This role is part of a broader push to centralise architecture and enable clean, scalable design across their business.

We're looking for a Solution Architect with strong retail domain knowledge, particularly across Pricing and Merchandise, and experience in complex multi-brand environments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead capability-driven architecture across Pricing, Merchandise, and related domains
• Translate complex business needs into modular, decoupled solutions
• Drive adoption of MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless)
• Produce detailed solution architecture and API documentation
• Engage with product, engineering, and vendor teams to align delivery
• Influence platform strategy and capability across a multi-brand environment
• Leverage expertise in cloud platforms (ideally Azure or GCP)
• Lead initiatives that span B2B and B2C customer experiences

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong background in retail architecture - with experience across large, complex organisations
• Deep understanding of Pricing and Merchandise domains
• Experience implementing pricing platforms (PriceFx, etc)
• Familiar with security architecture, integration patterns, and event-driven design
• Experience working across multi-brand organisations
• Confident documenting detailed solution designs and functional specs
• Strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced, stakeholder-heavy environments
• Hands-on with cloud platforms like Azure or GCP
