About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively across all levels of a project. You’ll be responsible for contract administration, estimating, and supporting the Project Team in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit tender documentation and accurate project estimates.
Demonstrate strong estimating skills across all phases of project planning and delivery.
Evaluate subcontractor quotes and negotiate pricing to ensure value for money.
Price and manage project variations throughout the construction lifecycle.
Track project costs, cash flow, and financial reporting.
Manage contracts and procurement processes.
Read and interpret plans, drawings, and develop detailed scopes of work.
Facilitate development applications, design development, and pre-construction activities.
Consolidate project handover documentation for client delivery.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
Qualifications & Skills
Permanent Residency or Citizenship essential.
Minimum 2–3 years’ proven local experience as a Contracts Administrator / Estimator in the commercial, retail, fit-out, or refurbishment sector. Applicant must have prior estimating experience.
Tertiary qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and scopes of work.
Excellent time management and organisational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills set to be a future leader.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Buildxact etc).
