Intro and Role: Country to Coast Projects is a well-established custom residential builder based in the Illawarra. We design and deliver high-end architectural homes with a focus on craftsmanship, care and detail. As our business continues to grow, we’re now looking for a Contracts Administrator / Estimator to join the team and take control of the financial and admin side of our residential builds.
This role is all about ensuring we deliver quality builds that are not just beautiful, but well-managed and cost-effective. You'll work closely with the owner, site supervisors, suppliers, and subcontractors to make sure the paperwork is right, the numbers stack up, and the projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage end-to-end contract admin including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and variations
· Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure scopes of work and costs are accurate
· Prepare take-offs, cost breakdowns, and estimates for new and ongoing projects
· Oversee the procurement of materials, labour, and services to meet build timelines
· Monitor budgets, progress claims, and ensure financial accuracy across all projects
· Provide support for project forecasting, programming, and client reporting
· Track and action client and subcontractor variations in a timely and organised manner
Skills & Experience:
· Minimum 2–3 years experience as a Contracts Administrator / Estimator
· The ability to read and interpret plans, engineering drawings and scopes of work
· A strong understanding of contract law, building codes, and construction processes
· Strong attention to detail, great with numbers, and confident using construction software
· Qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar are desirable
· Excellent communication skills are essential
