Position Overview: As a Machinery and Harvester Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining harvesting equipment to ensure efficient and safe harvesting operations. Your mechanical expertise will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and performing minor repairs and maintenance on the machinery, ensuring optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate harvesting equipment safely and efficiently, including our JCB Telehandler, Trebro turf harvester and various tractors and mowers

Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.

Monitor the harvesting process to ensure quality and efficiency.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on harvesting machinery.

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating harvesters or similar heavy machinery is required.

Strong mechanical background with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Knowledge of agricultural practices and harvesting processes is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Valid driver’s license; an HR driver’s license is a plus.
