This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to contribute to the financial success of a well established School. Based in South-Eastern suburbs, you will play a key role in managing budgets, analysing financial data, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts and board reports, including commentaries, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and general ledger reviews.
- Maintain and update the asset register, and perform principals reconciliation.
- Support budgeting activities and manage the 10-year financial model, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Review and approve capital project expenditures and prepayment purchase orders, ensuring budget controls are maintained.
- Assist with internal audits, financial administration, and compliance reporting such as ABS surveys.
- Provide backup support for accounts receivable and perform other duties as requested by management or the School.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- CPA or CA Qualified.
- Strong numeracy, analytical thinking, and sound understanding of accounting principles.
- Proven ability to interpret legislation and apply it effectively in financial contexts.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative approach.
- Highly adaptable to change, with a focus on process improvement and problem-solving.
- Skilled in managing competing priorities and planning workload efficiently.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
- Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions.
Job Offer
- Salary available is $105,000 to $110,000 per annum + super
