Role Summary
Position: Psychologist (Work From Home)
Location: Fully remote (Work your own hours)
Type: Flexible working arrangement
Salary: Competitive hourly rates
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct virtual psychological assessments to evaluate client needs and develop treatment plans.
2. Deliver evidence-based therapy (e.g., CBT, ACT, or other modalities) through secure online platforms.
3. Provide counselling and support to clients experiencing a range of emotional, mental health, or behavioral challenges.
4. Develop and implement strategies to enhance emotional resilience and coping mechanisms.
5. Maintain accurate and confidential client records and progress reports.
6. Collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals as needed to optimise client outcomes.
7. Stay informed about the latest research and practices in psychology and mental health care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology.
2. Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist.
3. Proven experience in delivering therapy services (online therapy experience preferred).
4. Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, ACT, or DBT.
5. Reliable internet connection and ability to use telehealth platforms.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
8. Strong organisational skills to maintain accurate client records.
9. Own ABN and appropriate level of insurance.
10. Knowledge of the 'Splose' clinical management system is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
1. Experience working with diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
2. Training or certification in a specialised area (e.g., trauma therapy, anxiety disorders, or family therapy).
3. Familiarity with the NDIS and Australian mental health policies.
4. Previous experience delivering therapy via telehealth platforms.
5. Breadth of experience with culturally sensitive and inclusive practices.
6. Additional qualifications or workshops in advanced therapeutic techniques

This is a service provider role contracting to Therapy Direct. You will have a registered business (ABN), provider number and PI/PL insurance. You will be responsible of your own super and leave and CPD (although we will present CPD opportunities from time to time).
