About the role

Inglis Medical Centre is seeking a Provisional Psychologist to join our dynamic and supportive team in Sale, Victoria. This full-time role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a community-based clinical practice as a provisional Psychologist at Head to Health Wellington, providing high-quality mental health services to a diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Providing short term supports to clients in the Wellington Region

Providing evidence-based psychological interventions to address a range of mental health concerns

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to client care

Maintaining detailed and accurate client records, while adhering to professional and organisational standards

Participating in ongoing professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia

Demonstrated experience in the provision of psychological services, either during your studies or through previous work experience

Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, with a focus on evidence-based practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds

Commitment to ethical and professional conduct, and a passion for improving the mental health and wellbeing of the local community
