Empower Energy is redefining the residential solar-battery landscape in Australia via its industry-leading hardware product and software services. This is a rare opportunity – we are looking for a creative, dynamic, fast paced, data-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to lead the charge in growing our brand presence and driving key channel partner and customer acquisition through digital channels. This position is ideally based in Sydney, but open to remote work for the right candidate.
This role will own and implement our digital marketing strategy, supporting B2B and B2C sales and business development through compelling campaigns, targeted content, and performance-driven advertising.
The role:
Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Sales team, you will lead the design and execution of Empower’s digital marketing strategy across paid and organic channels. You will work to build awareness, generate demand, and optimise lead quality across both B2C and B2B segments.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement the Digital Marketing Strategy aligned with our sales, business development and product goals
Become an expert in Empower’s products and services, and the customers and partners we serve
Manage and optimise paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn etc.) for lead generation and conversion
Oversee our SEO and content marketing strategy, including creation of articles, case studies, social posts, testimonials and email campaigns
Manage our website and digital assets, ensuring messaging, branding and UX are optimised
Perform website updates, plugin updates and product updates.
Use analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, G4A, HubSpot) to track performance, generate insights and report on ROI
Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
Create product launch materials, digital collateral and campaign messaging
Monitor competitive digital activity and market trends to inform campaigns and messaging
Represent Empower at industry events and forums where relevant to our brand-building and lead generation efforts
The ideal candidate:
Several years experience in a marketing operations or digital marketing role.
Proven experience delivering B2B and/or B2C digital marketing campaigns with measurable outcomes
Knowledge of energy storage technology and/or solar will be highly regarded
Hands-on experience with digital tools including Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, HubSpot, CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress or Webflow), and graphic design tools
Strong content creation and copywriting skills across a range of formats
A proactive mindset: You don’t wait to be told — you identify opportunities, take action, and keep things moving.
Self-starter who is organised, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience building out personalized marketing experiences (dynamic emails, personalized journeys, personalized web content)
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related discipline
This role requires creativity, initiative, organisation and strong collaboration skills. You’ll be central to distilling and communicating Empower’s value proposition to customers and partners, and helping build one of Australia’s most exciting clean energy brands.
