About the role

Sapphire Dental Care is seeking an experienced Oral Health Therapist/Hygienist to join our dynamic team in Merimbula, NSW. This is a full-time/part-time position, offering the opportunity to deliver high-quality dental care to our patients within a supportive and collaborative environment. We recently implemented The Larkin Protocol as our overarching philosophy.

What you'll be doing

Providing a range of preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services, including scaling, polishing, and the application of fluoride treatments

Performing oral examinations, developing treatment plans, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene

Collaborating with the dental team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and coordinated patient care

Maintaining detailed patient records and adhering to all relevant regulations and standards

Participating in continuing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and industry best practices

What we're looking for

Registered Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist with a current AHPRA registration

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a private dental practice

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide patient-centred care

Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality and evidence-based dental services

Proficient in the use of dental equipment and computer software used in the management of patient records

A collaborative and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
