As an Account Manager, you’ll operate at the intersection of client service, digital strategy, and project delivery. You’ll represent the client’s voice internally, drive delivery outcomes, and ensure we not only meet but exceed expectations.
This role suits someone who lives and breathes digital - equally confident planning a $100K Shopify build, discussing performance metrics, scoping a martech integration, or managing a multi-channel retainer across web, content, and paid media.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor within Clue.
Strategic Alignment: Understand clients' business objectives and digital strategy needs, aligning our services to achieve their goals.
Account Growth: Identify growth opportunities within client accounts and collaborate with our Business Development team to capitalise on them.
Project Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams, ensuring client requirements are met and projects are delivered on schedule and within budget ensuring the delivery of work to clients is exceptional and to Clue standards.
Client Communication: Regularly update clients on project progress, monthly reports, strategies with them on future initiatives, and handle any concerns they might have.
Retainer Management: Own monthly retainer deliverables, working closely with clients to plan and report on initiatives, performance, and next steps.
Commercial Management: Accurately scope and estimate work with support from internal teams. Identify potential upsell opportunities and manage scope boundaries.
Client Satisfaction Monitoring: Monitor and analyse client satisfaction levels, devising plans for improvement when necessary.
Quality Control: Ensure all client deliverables meet Clue’s standards, including visual, functional, and strategic alignment.
Lead Generation and Conversion: Actively follow up on leads, with the aim of converting them into new client accounts.
Cross-Channel Oversight: Maintain a clear understanding of all activity across client accounts — from performance marketing and SEO to eCommerce and development. While you won’t run ads or write code, you’ll be expected to understand the strategy, monitor the moving parts, and speak confidently with both clients and internal teams.
Provide support and mentorship to team and client coordinators in the client services.

Digital all-rounder with a passion for people and data smart business
A robust understanding of digital strategy, digital marketing, web development, and ecommerce platforms like Shopify, WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Advertising Platform.
You’re not an ads manager or a developer, but you speak both languages. You understand how digital campaigns, websites, analytics, and platforms connect, and you’re trusted by specialists to represent their work accurately to clients.
Exceptionally skilled at multitasking and managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Proven experience as a Account Manager, or in a similar role in a digital agency or related environment.
Comfortable managing digital projects in the $20K–$100K range, and retainers between $5K–$20K/month across web, eCommerce, and marketing.
Proficiency in project management software (like Asana or Trello), CRM systems (like Salesforce), and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Applies best-practice project management methodologies.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to manage complex client accounts and to coordinate multi-disciplinary projects.
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field. A master’s degree is a plus.
