About the role

Timalco Hydraulics Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated business that has operating since 2001, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in our warehouse facility located in Dry Creek, South Australia. This full-time, hands-on, position will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our busy warehouse, ensuring smooth logistics and inventory management.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the warehouse team, including order picking, packing, and shipping

Maintaining accurate inventory levels and records, implementing stock control procedures

Overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of products and materials

Developing and implementing efficient warehouse processes and procedures

Monitoring warehouse performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Providing training and coaching to the warehouse team to enhance their skills and productivity

Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless logistics and customer service

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry

Experience in hydraulics, or related Industry preferred but not essential

Mechanical aptitude

Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a small team

Proficient in inventory management, stock control, and warehouse operations

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (MYOB) an advantage

Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring accuracy and efficiency

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Forklift license and warehouse experience essential
