About Us
Founded in 1917, the Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE) is one of Australia’s leading independent tertiary institutions, known for excellence in sport, health, science, dance, sports business, and teacher education. We are on the lookout for a hands-on Marketing Coordinator to join our collaborative team and support the execution of integrated marketing and communications activities that drive engagement, awareness, and student recruitment outcomes.
About the Role
This role is ideal for a marketing all-rounder with strong coordination skills and a creative edge. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will support the delivery of end-to-end marketing campaigns, content creation, digital communications, social media management, and day-to-day marketing operations.
You will collaborate across departments, manage vendor relationships, support events, and help bring our brand to life across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Coordination
Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to deliver high-quality marketing outcomes in line with ACPE’s brand.
Coordinate day-to-day marketing tasks, including planning and execution of activities.
Source imagery and promotional items, design collateral, ad banners, signage, and presentations.
Support campaign execution, vendor management, financial tracking, reporting, and admin.
Log tasks at weekly WIP meetings and support job requests through the marketing inbox.
Marketing Communications
Execute end-to-end campaigns, promotions, and partnership programs.
Write and publish engaging content across various channels.
Maintain the ACPE website, including page builds, copy, and design updates.
Distribute email and SMS promotions using automation software.
Support event planning and execution (including occasional out-of-hours requirements).
Curate and schedule content for social media via our content calendar.
Marketing Operations
Manage social media platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube), schedule posts, and oversee content delivery.
Maintain marketing folders, asset libraries, and templates.
Conduct QA checks for brand consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
Liaise with vendors for material production and delivery.
Support Business Development with promotional materials for events and expos.
Track and manage marketing inventory and toolkits.
Capture analytics and report on campaign performance and ROI.
Process invoices and update expense trackers.
About You
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Marketing or related field.
Must Haves
4+ years of experience delivering across the marketing mix (digital & traditional).
Skilled in event coordination and marketing logistics.
Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
Proficient with WordPress, email marketing platforms (e.g. Campaign Monitor, Pardot, HubSpot), and social media tools.
Data-driven with experience in reporting and analytics.
Nice to Have (not essential)
Knowledge of marketing automation and lead nurture journeys.
Website UX and HTML familiarity.
Experience with video production and modern filming equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
