Our client, a Federal Government Department focused on helping the disability community is seeking a EL1 / EL2 Release Manager to join their team in mid to late September.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the release schedule, ensuring alignment with technical dependencies, business priorities, compliance requirements, and stakeholder change management.
• Conduct release impact assessments, ensuring the successful coordination and execution of releases.
• Oversee readiness criteria and go/no-go checkpoints, working closely with the business and technology teams.
• Ensure adherence to ICT change management processes, including cyber assessments, penetration testing, and change advisory board (CAB) representation.

Skills:

• Proven experience in establishing and managing Release Management processes in an enterprise business system context.
• Enterprise-level experience in managing Releases and delivering systems based on contemporary platforms and architectures including high level of integration to internal and external systems.
• Release management experience in a Federal Government environment.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecyle and its integration with Change and Release Management.
