THE EMPLOYER

Our client is a trusted Australian consulting and technology services provider, delivering cutting-edge solutions to Defence. They are seeking a DevSecOps Lead Engineer to support the Army’s Land Network Integration Centre (LNIC) on a high-profile, nationally significant program.

THE ROLE

As the DevSecOps Lead, you’ll design and implement secure automation patterns for enterprise and deployable networks, lead scripting and orchestration efforts, and help shape the overall DevSecOps approach for LNIC data centres and field environments.

You’ll also contribute to key design documentation, oversee toolchain integration, and collaborate with Defence stakeholders to enable seamless system builds in highly secure, offline environments.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum NV1 Australian Defence Security Clearance (MUST HAVE)

Solid background in DevOps/DevSecOps engineering (5+ years)

Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Ansible, etc.)

Experience with DevSecOps toolsets (GitLab, Terraform, Vault, Kubernetes)

Knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms, VMware, and enterprise applications

Strong understanding of secure networks and system design

Self-starter with good leadership and communication skills

Prior experience in Defence environments (10+ years preferred)
