Site Engineer (Electrical)
Location: Canberra
Duration: 12-months initial casual contract (long-term hiring, open to Permanent arrangement)
Project: Renewable Solar & BESS projects
Working hours: Monday – Friday (10 working hours per day)

What you’ll do

Oversee the day-to-day activities on-site, including solar PV systems and BESS components.

Develop and maintain work packs

Assist in the creation and review of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure their proper implementation on site

Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and electrical standards.

Act as a primary point of contact between the site and project office.

What you’ll bring

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Minimum 5 years of site experience in electrical engineering with solar farm and/or BESS projects

Familiar with work packs, ITPs.

Familiarity with industry and safety regulations.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to work on remote project sites.
