Our client, a respected organisation in the Education sector, is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Officer with payroll experience.

Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Accountant and working closely with the Head of Business Services, this is a hands-on position offering full exposure to end-to-end Accounts Payable and Payroll processing. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance function and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be responsible for the duties outlined above and will require the following:

Essential experience

• Data entry of accounts transactions, including accounts payable invoices, in a timely and accurate manner.
  
• Maintenance and filing of financial records.
  
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  
• Reconciliation of vendor statements,
  
• Assist in payroll processing, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll payments.
  
• Validate timekeeping records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  
• Accurately maintain and update employee payroll records and information.
  
• Address employee enquiries regarding payroll matters promptly, confidentially, and courteously.
