Description

• Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding and data entry.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and execute weekly and monthly payment runs.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and Public Sector regulations.
• Support audit requirements by providing relevant documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements within the Accounts Payable function.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Officer should have:

• Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
