About the Role

We're looking for a Financial Accountant to join a not-for-profit organisation. This is a broad role where you'll be involved in a variety of accounting functions, playing a key part in supporting our mission.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Managing credit card processing and reconciliation.

Handling capital expenditure (capex) accounting.

Preparing and processing accounting journals.

Assisting with treasury functions.

Overseeing the accounting for car purchasing and fleet.

Contributing to general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures.

What You'll Bring

You're a detail-oriented and adaptable accounting professional ready to contribute to a meaningful cause.
You'll have:

Experience in a financial accounting role, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.

Familiarity with the duties outlined above, including credit card processing, capex, journal entries, and treasury functions.

A solid understanding of accounting principles.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
