Carsburg Earthmoving & Civil are an established family owned and operated Plant Hire / Civil company looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to work directly with company directors in a permanent role with options of flexible hours to capture work life/family balance to achieve excellent results.

The Financial Accountant is responsible for administering the day-to-day financial and accounting functions within a small team in a dynamic workplace offering both offices based or remote working options without the corporate headaches.

To be successful in this role you will require:

• CPA / CA qualified with experience in management and financial reporting;
• Excellent financial and management accounting, with strong knowledge of accounting standards with demonstrated ability to apply them;
• Demonstrated ability to investigate, gather, analyse, and interpret data from intercompany sources;
• A good understanding of internal processes & functions within finance
• Demonstrated ability of embedding continuous improvement practices;
• Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative team member;
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels with a customer service focus;
• Strong time management and organisational skills including the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met;
• Self-motivated, strong desire to achieve results, attention to detail and maintain integrity and confidentiality;
• Strong knowledge of MYOB AccountRight and Payroll for wages for approx 40 staff;
• Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office;
• Experience with preparation of legal and regulatory reporting and governance;
• Preparation of quarterly and month-end management reporting.
