Excellent opportunity for a dynamic financial accountant to join a growing business in Brisbane as a financial accountant. You will manage reporting cycles, create compliance frameworks, build financial insights and repair inefficiencies in core processes.

The opportunity

• Preparing financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
• Preparing and lodging BAS and other statutory returns (FBT, PAYG, etc.)
• Managing month-end and year-end processes including journal entries and reconciliations
• Ensuring compliance with AASB and internal controls
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Reconciling GL, balance sheet and bank accounts
• Monitoring cash flow, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets
• Assisting with external audits and liaising with auditors as needed

The individual

You’re a qualified CPA or CA (or well on your way) with 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience. You have a solid understanding of Australian taxation and accounting standards, and you're ready to take the next step in your career.
