Venue Manager

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for craft beer and hospitality? In this role, you’ll take charge of delivering exceptional guest experiences while overseeing the day-to-day operations of our taphouse. You’ll lead from the front—motivating the team, managing floor and bar service, and ensuring everything runs smoothly in our fun, fast-paced, and beer-loving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a team to deliver consistently outstanding service.

Oversee daily floor and bar operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Monitor customer satisfaction, respond to feedback, and resolve issues swiftly.

Ensure food and drink orders are delivered accurately and promptly.

Engage with guests throughout their visit to enhance their experience.

Drive revenue through upselling menu items, specials, and promotions.

Operate and reconcile the Point of Sale (POS) system.

Handle cash, EFTPOS, and other payment methods with accuracy.

Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and management to ensure venue cohesion.

Communicate dietary requirements or special requests clearly to the kitchen.

Train and support new team members in service and safety standards.

Requirements

Current RSA & Responsible Persons Badge.

Proven experience in hospitality leadership roles.

Strong communication, team leadership, and organisational skills.

A guest-first mindset and a passion for great service.

Flexible availability—including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Ability to lead during peak periods with calm and clarity.

Reliable, punctual, and solutions-focused.

Solid knowledge of craft beer, wine, and cocktails.

Understanding of dietary requirements and allergens.
