We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Assistant Manager to join our team. If you have a passion for beautiful homewares, a flair for merchandising, and the skills to connect with our customers in-store and online, this is your opportunity to shine!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient performance.
Design and implement captivating in-store displays to showcase our gifts, kitchenware, and homewares collections, aligning with the HM Gallerie brand.
Regularly update the HM Gallerie website, including product descriptions, imagery, pricing, and promotions.
Create engaging and inspiring content for our social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, to enhance our online presence and customer engagement.
Deliver "hands on" exceptional customer service, fostering strong relationships with our clientele.
Manage stock, including receiving deliveries, inventory control, and ensuring product availability.
Motivate and lead team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Monitor sales performance, provide feedback, and contribute ideas to meet and exceed sales targets.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in retail, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role, with a focus on homewares, gifts, or kitchenware.
Strong skills in visual merchandising, with an eye for style and attention to detail.
Confidence in managing and updating websites and creating compelling social media content.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a passion for building relationships.
Proficiency in basic computer programs and POS systems.
A proactive, hands-on approach with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Availability to over a 7 day roster, we are closed on public holidays
